Mary (2,5 years old) was trying to speak with her mum, but mum was talking with a neighbour lady near their house's door and was not paying any attention to her. So she decided to wait for them to finish the conversation. But every time it seemed they had finished and her mum was almost entering home, the neighbour lady had always something more to say. When Mary and her mum finally enter their house, Mary says already exasperated: What an annoying lady!

Jo was seeing his grandfather planting a little tree with a lot of interest. On the next day Jo was in the garden for a while and his grandfather decided to see what he was doing.
- Look grandpa I am planting trees! - Jo shouted. He had broken the little tree that they had planted before in lots of little sticks and all the sticks were partially buried on the garden at regular spaces. The little tree was destroyed and all those little sticks would never be trees … but Jo looked so proud of his first gardening work!

Rita is 4 years old and loves little cats but she has no pets at home. So, when she saw a little cat near her grandparents' house she tried to grab and pet him. As the little cat started to run away from her, she tried to call him back offering him something to eat… and the first thing she saw were some fruits from a near prickly pear cactus lying on the ground. So she grabbed one of the fruits and called the little cat offering the fruit and squeezing out its content, which she thought would make it look tastier.
Well, from the photo below you may guess what happened after. The cat run away, as prickly pear fruits do not make part of cat's preferred menus and Rita entered her grandparents' house crying with her little hand entirely full of small prickly pear fruit's thorns. It took her grandparents a lot of time and imagination (experimenting with different products and tools) to take them all out.

I had the idea of making this blog after a little story with my niece who has 5 years. I paint children’s wall art. So, I decided to paint a personalised work on canvas, to offer to my niece, with her name and the image of a little girl that I tried to make very similar to her. The day I offered her the painting I was curious about her reaction. She looked at the painting for what seemed to be an eternity, and after she said with a critic look, comparing herself with the painting: my hair is darker!
